Medical copywriter for Australian clinics.Words that get the booking. Eventually. This month.

I'm Amisha Sharma, a medical and health copywriter. I write the websites, blog posts and ads Australian clinics publish. Every line is written to the AHPRA, TGA and NDIS advertising rules, and every page ships with the report that checked it. Five years writing for Australian healthcare.

  • Websites. The service pages patients read before they book.

  • Blogs. Answers to what patients type into Google and ChatGPT.

  • Ads. Google, Meta and LinkedIn ads, written to each platform's health policy.

So what does a medical copywriter write? Most of what a patient reads about you.

What does a medical copywriter write for a clinic?

A medical copywriter writes the words a clinic publishes, from service pages to Google ads. The job has two parts. Get the patient to book. Stay inside the AHPRA, TGA and NDIS advertising rules while you do it. Here is what I write for Australian clinics.

  • Website copy. Homepage, service pages, practitioner bios and the booking page. Website copy

  • Blog posts that rank. Answers to the questions patients ask before a first visit, two a week if you want them. Weekly retainer

  • Ads. Google search ads, plus Meta and LinkedIn ads, written to each platform's healthcare policy. Google Ads copy and Meta and LinkedIn ads

  • SEO fixes. The pages you already have, made findable by Google and quotable by ChatGPT. SEO fix

  • A content plan. Every page and post your site needs, in order, with what each one says. Content plan

One writer for all of it, so your website, blog and ads sound like the same clinic.

Couldn't a general copywriter do this? Here's where they get stuck.

Why hire a medical copywriter over a general one?

The rules.

Patient reviews. “Pain-free”. A before and after photo. Each one has an advertising rule attached. Ahpra assessed 775 advertising complaints in 2024/25, its annual report says. A general writer finds out on your page. I know where they sit before I start.

The patient.

11pm, sore knee, three tabs open. She books the clinic that says what happens at the first visit and what it costs. The other two said “caring team”.

The search.

Patients type symptoms, not service names. “Heel pain first thing in the morning.” I write the page to the words they type. That gives Google and ChatGPT a reason to send them to you.

A general copywriter can cost less per page. Then you pay again for the fixes.

So who is the medical copywriter? Hi.

Who is your medical copywriter?

One writer. Me. No account manager, no junior, no hand-off. The person who reads your site writes it, and answers your WhatsApp.

Five years of Australian healthcare writing. MA in English. 73 published articles you can read tonight. Most of the client work is under confidentiality agreements, so no logo wall, and no invented one either.

I'm in Delhi. You're in Australia. It works like this. You brief me at the end of your day. I write while you sleep, in Australian English, to Australian rules. The pages are waiting when you open the clinic, and the rent here stays off your invoice.

And I don't turn up alone. There's a bonus.

Amisha Sharma, medical copywriter, standing with a pen

All Clear Audit. Proprietary. Built in Delhi, runs on every page I write.

The bonus of working with me: every page ships with an All Clear Audit.

All Clear Audit is the audit I built because the usual tools count keywords and have never read the AHPRA guidelines. It reads your page the way Google, ChatGPT and AHPRA do. 301 checks. Every flag names the rule it breaks. Every fix is already written.

I use AI where it earns its place. 301 checks on every page is a job no human does by hand. The writing is still mine.

You don't take my word for the copy. You take the report's. And you can argue with it.

Brief

Book a free call or fill in the form. A fixed quote and a start date come back within 48 hours.

00

Read

Before I write a word I read your site, your sitemap, the two clinics above you on Google, and what patients type into the search bar. That's the content strategy: which pages you need, what each one has to say, and what it asks the reader to do. You sign it off on one page.

00

Write

To the question the patient typed, and to the rules. In your clinic's voice. Clinical facts go to your practitioners to confirm.

Before you ask

Questions clinics ask before they hire a medical copywriter

What does a medical copywriter do?

A medical copywriter writes the words a clinic publishes: website pages, blog posts, ads and emails. The job is to get the booking and stay inside the advertising rules for health services. In Australia that means the AHPRA advertising guidelines, the TGA advertising code and, for NDIS providers, the NDIS Code of Conduct.

How much does a medical copywriter cost?

You get a fixed quote, in writing, within 48 hours of your email. No sales call unless you want one. The smallest first step is one paid pilot page. You judge the writing on your own site before you commit to the rest.

Are you signing off that my website is AHPRA compliant?

No. I write to the AHPRA advertising guidelines, the TGA advertising code and the NDIS Code of Conduct, and I show you the checks. That is not legal advice, a compliance sign-off or an AHPRA ruling. The practice stays responsible for what it publishes.

Medical copywriter, health copywriter, healthcare copywriter. Which one are you?

All three. Medical copywriter is the usual name when the reader is a GP clinic or a specialist. Health copywriter covers allied health, wellness and NDIS. Healthcare copywriter is the umbrella. Same person, same 301 checks.

Are you a doctor or a registered health practitioner?

No. I'm a copywriter. Your practitioners own the clinical facts. I turn them into pages a patient can follow, written to the advertising rules, and I flag any line I think needs their check.

Who have you worked for? Can I see examples?

The client work is confidential, so the clinics stay unnamed. What you can read: 73 published articles, a demonstration All Clear Audit, or the pilot page I write for you.
