Copywriter for Brisbane clinics.Patients type a suburb and a problem. Your homepage says welcome.
I'm Amisha, a healthcare copywriter for Brisbane clinics, working from Delhi in Australian hours. I write your pages to rank, to get the booking, and to sit inside the AHPRA advertising rules.
Ranks. Written to what Brisbane patients really type.
Books. Fees, parking and hours, on the page.
Passes. Every claim checked against the AHPRA guidelines.
Fixed quote in 48 hours. Or start with one paid page.
Start with the sentence a patient in Chermside types before they ever see your name.
What does a Brisbane patient type before they choose a clinic?
A place and a problem. The suburb first, then what hurts, then whether it costs anything.
Searches a month: Google Keyword Planner, Australia, twelve months to September 2026.
The search bar stops there. Your page has to keep going.
- ✓Where to park, and whether it is free.
- ✓Whether you are open after 5pm, or on Saturday.
- ✓Who bulk billing covers, and who it does not.
Put those in plain words, with the suburb and the street, and Google has something to rank. So does ChatGPT, which quotes the page it can understand.
There is a second reader. It never books. In Queensland, it has a phone number.
Who handles a complaint about your advertising in Queensland?
Two bodies, one route. AHPRA writes the advertising rules for every registered practitioner in Australia. In Queensland, the Office of the Health Ombudsman (OHO) is the first place a complaint lands. It was set up under the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (Qld). It then decides who deals with the matter.
The Queensland route: the OHO
- 1Anyone can complain, by phone, online or in writing.Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (Qld), s 32 and s 33
- 2The OHO decides what to do within 7 business days.s 35
- 3A matter about a registered practitioner can go to AHPRA.s 91, referral to the National Agency
- 4The complainant can stay anonymous.OHO, frequently asked questions
The national rules: AHPRA
- ✓Section 133 of the National Law covers advertising.
- ✓Bans testimonials, misleading claims and offers without terms.
- ✓The same rules apply in every state and territory.
- ✓The practice is responsible, whoever typed the words.
The Google reviews widget on the homepage. Under the National Law that is a testimonial in advertising. In Queensland the complaint starts at the OHO, and it can end up at AHPRA.
Sources: the Office of the Health Ombudsman, the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (Qld) and the AHPRA advertising guidelines. I write to the primary sources. That is not legal advice, a compliance sign-off or an AHPRA ruling. The practice stays responsible for what it publishes.

How does the Delhi part work?
Delhi is four and a half hours behind Brisbane, all year, because Queensland skips daylight saving. Your 2pm is my 9.30am. I reply within 48 hours, and the invoice carries no Australian GST.
Four questions to ask before you hire a writer in another country.
Before you ask
Questions to ask before you hire a copywriter for a Brisbane clinic
Are you a Brisbane copywriter?
No, and I will not pretend to be. I work from Delhi, in Australian hours, for clinics in Brisbane and across Australia. You get a fixed quote in AUD, a reply within 48 hours, and no Australian GST on the invoice.
Who handles a complaint about a Queensland clinic's advertising?
The Office of the Health Ombudsman is the first place to contact for health service complaints in Queensland. Anyone can make one, by phone on 133 OHO (133 646) or online. Complaints about registered practitioners are considered jointly with AHPRA under the Health Ombudsman Act 2013 (Qld).
What does a Brisbane clinic page need that a generic one does not?
The suburb and the street, written out. Parking, opening hours and who bulk billing covers. And the phrases Brisbane patients actually type, like physio brisbane cbd, answered in the first sixty words.
Are you signing off that my website is compliant?
No, and I would be careful with anyone who offers to. I write to the AHPRA advertising guidelines, the TGA advertising code and the NDIS Code of Conduct, and I show you the checks. That is not legal advice, a compliance sign-off or an AHPRA ruling. The practice stays responsible for what it publishes.
