Two clinics fined $239,760 over website advertising
Pages referred to serious conditions and implied government approval
Two NSW clinics, company name withheld and company name withheld, advertised prescription-only products on their websites and social media. The regulator said the pages referred to serious conditions, including cancer and epilepsy, and suggested the products were recommended or approved by a government authority. Infringement notices were issued to both companies.
