Healthcare website audit
The regulator reads your words. Google reads your speed, using other people's visits. Google also reads your trust. None of them use the same tool.
Why bother
Of the practitioners Ahpra contacted about non-compliant advertising in 2024/25, 74% corrected it early. Most breaches are fixable by the practice, once someone says where to look.
Minutes 0 to 10
Section 133 has five grounds: misleading, inducements without terms, testimonials, unreasonable expectation, unnecessary use. Use the find box for "free", "guarantee", "pain", "best" and a quote mark.
The defence is not yours
Section 133(2) protects a person who "prints or publishes an advertisement for another person". That is the agency. There is no matching defence for the practice whose service is advertised.
Minutes 10 to 20
Google grades LCP, INP and CLS at the 75th percentile of real visits over the last 28 days. Fix something today and the report will not say so today. Its own fix-tracking runs a 28-day session.
The passing marks, per web.dev
Largest Contentful Paint within 2.5 seconds. Interaction to Next Paint 200 milliseconds or less. Cumulative Layout Shift 0.1 or less. If the report says no data, that is an absence of a grade, not a fail.
Minutes 20 to 30
"Does the content provide original information, reporting, research, or analysis?" "Are you mainly summarizing what others have to say without adding much value?" Ask them of your busiest service page.
What 30 minutes misses
The month of speed data. Everything off your site, which section 133 also covers. The pages you did not open. A clean pass means the visible faults are gone, nothing more.
